Schoen Clinic Newbridge is wholly committed to raising awareness of eating disorders and improving the lives of people affected by them. Following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in 2016, our internationally renowned inpatient hospital for children, teenagers and young adults with eating disorders received an Outstanding rating.
In 2018, the CQC revisited Schoen Clinic Newbridge and awarded a second Outstanding rating, noting the high standard of care provided by staff and the commitment to research and innovation within the eating disorders field, both nationally and internationally.
Effective inpatient eating disorder treatment doesn't mean pausing school education
All our young people attend James Brindley School within Schoen Clinic Newbridge, which is a specialist academy for children and teens with eating disorders, medical conditions and/or special educational needs.
Many of our residents achieve excellent grades whilst receiving treatment and leave wonderful feedback for the teachers following discharge.
We have also produced films and accompanying resources for schools in which young people we have treated describe their experiences to promote understanding of eating disorders among children, teens and adolescents.

We'll need a GP, CAMHS team or healthcare professional referral as it contains essential information regarding medical history.
3. Attend our friendly and welcoming hospital
If suitable for treatment with us, an appointment will be made to come into the hospital and a bespoke treatment plan will be formulated.

Arriving by car
Exit the M6 at Junction 7 onto the A34 towards Walsall and join the A454 (Aldridge Road). Stay on the A454 for approximately 1.2 miles before turning right onto Chester Road, Schoen Clinic Newbridge will be on your right-hand side.
