Our Leadership Team

Working together

Our Senior Leadership Team at Schoen Clinic Newbridge consists of the Governance Board of Directors and operational members of the on-site senior management team.

Natalie Maley - Hospital Director

Natalie Maley joined Newbridge House (now Schoen Clinic Newbridge) at the start of 2013. She brings a wealth of experience in child and adolescent mental health services to the role and has a degree in mental health nursing clinical practice.

After qualifying, Natalie spent three years as the primary care nurse at a young offenders’ institute, where she was responsible for carrying out assessments, developing care plans and responding to challenging situations.

Natalie was then appointed senior mental health practitioner for an NHS home-based treatment service, where she built her skills and experience of working with young people with eating disorders. Her focus was on providing intensive treatment in order to prevent hospital admission or support to facilitate earlier hospital discharge. The young patients she was working with were the most acutely ill group within the community and her role involved the management of serious risk. As a senior practitioner, Natalie had to work both autonomously and within multi-disciplinary teams spanning several different organisations.

Natalie is personally committed to supporting young people with complex mental health problems and helping them to fulfil their life’s potential. She is also a qualified mentor with extensive experience in training and presenting.

Senior Leadership Team

Lucy McFadyen - Clinical Manager & Safeguarding Lead

Lucy joined Schoen Clinic Newbridge 12 years ago after completing a degree in Paediatric Nursing. A highly respected and integral member of the nursing team, Lucy has held a wide range of nursing roles, encompassing healthcare assistant, staff nurse, senior staff nurse and lead nurse. She was the first paediatric trained nurse to join the hospital, embedding the phlebotomy and nasogastric feeding programmes at Newbridge. The nursing team brings together the complementary strengths and competencies of both paediatric and mental health nursing.

Lucy was appointed Clinical Manager in October 2020. Her appointment reflects a great strength of our service: senior staff have worked for Newbridge for many years, are deeply committed and bring an integral understanding of all aspects of the service and the needs of the young people we support.

Tracy O'Sullivan - Operations Manager

Tracy has been at Schoen Clinic Newbridge since February 2022 and is delighted to be part of the award-winning team at Newbridge.

Tracy started her career in mental health and substance miss-use as a Support worker, working her way up the ladder. Tracy's passion for supporting vulnerable groups to achieve the best outcomes possible being the driving force.

Over the past 20 years, Tracy has supported individuals across a diverse sector to include learning disabilities, the probation service and most recently in older adult social care as a Registered Manager. Tracy is excited for the future and the contribution she can make to the fantastic team at Newbridge.
