About the Role

Join our team at Schoen Clinic York!


Are you a dietitian with experience of working within eating disorders? We are looking for a Dietitian to join us permanently, on a full time basis to work within our Moselle Ward at Schoen Clinic York.


As part of this role, you will provide a specialist dietetic service to our patients and act as a source of expertise on the dietary management of eating disorders to the multi-disciplinary team, community health professionals and others involved in the care of our patients. As an expert in your field, you will provide specialist advice to patients with eating disorders deemed to be at high risk of medical or physical complications, including re-feeding syndrome and ensure that you have undertaken comprehensive assessments of individual patient’s diets and lifestyle to formulate individualised management and treatment plans ensuring optimal outcomes whilst minimising risk. Assessment will include interpretation of anthropometric, biochemical and clinical indicators, weight history and dietary analysis.

Skills & requirements

As a Dietitian, you will hold a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics or BSc in relevant science plus a post-graduate diploma in dietetics. You will be registered with the HCPC as a Registered Dietitian and have full evidence of your CPD.


You will have a solid foundation of knowledge in the current best practice of eating disorders and understand the Safeguarding responsibilities and relevant legislation attached to this.


You will have the ability to reflect and critically appraise your own performance and will be able to give and receive feedback constructively.

£35,500 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience
