About the Role

As Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff to implement the care plans of patients at Schoen Clinic Newbridge. The nursing staff will decide the detailed care plans in conjunction with best practice (e.g., NICE guidelines), and HCAs will participate in the development and implementation of daily activities to support the care plans. 


Here are some of the key things you'll be responsible for:


  • Adhere to NICE guidelines;

  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients;

  • Conduct regular patient assessments;

  • Assist during meal times and support feeding methods;

  • Perform clinical tasks with expertise;

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals;

  • Ensure safety and report concerns;

  • Understand safeguarding principles

Educational

·       A good standard of education, ideally NVQ level 2 of equivalent

·       Can demonstrate clear evidence of continued professional development
