
Schoen Clinic have an opportunity for a Clinical Governance Coordinator to play an important part in supporting and assisting stakeholders across a broad range of data driven areas.
- To administer the governance, compliant, risk and incident reporting systems
- To work closely with Chief Nurse, Head of Departments, Consultants, Medical Director, Responsible Officer, Registered Manager, Clinical and Administrative colleagues to ensure that reliable information and data is always available
- To ensure that departments are completing all audits and data inputs on time
- To support investigations and reviews including complaints, clinical and non-clinical incidents
- To monitor governance systems for emerging trends and escalate any identified risks.
- To assist the Medical Director, Responsible Officer and Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee in managing governance compliance
- To support the multi-disciplinary team and stakeholders in the execution of their governance, outcome and risk management responsibilities
- To be responsible for supporting governance policies
- To support the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of the highest-quality of care that is safe, effective, caring and responsive

Skills
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of CQC regulations
- Extensive experience of DATIX/Sentinel or a similar Incident Management System
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High levels of initiative, organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Proficiency in use of multiple IT systems and electronic healthcare records
- Previous experience in a governance role
- Experience of outcome data collection (PROMS/Oxford etc)
- Experience in incident investigation
- Excellent data processing ability
- Policy management
- Recent experience of a formal CQC inspection (Desirable)
