Schoen Clinic have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Facilities Management to join the team to lead on the day to day operations of the estates and facilities function

Schoen Clinic are looking to appoint a Head of Facilities Management to lead the facilities management function of the organisation. This role is also responsible for managing the property portfolio of Schoen Clinic ensuring facilities services and supplier services are managed to ensure that all buildings operate successfully while maximising financial and operational performance and minimising organisational risk.

The Head of FM will be responsible and accountable for the effective running and oversight of all aspects of the UK facilities 


  • Supporting the delivery of the Organisation's strategy and operational plans 
  • Providing strategic direction for the organisation’s estate, capital projects and strategic maintenance programme  
  • Reviewing commercial opportunities relating to the Organisations estates and facilities
  • Leading the day-to-day Estates and Facilities functions 
  • Developing and implementing KPI's, Service Level Agreements and targets for the Facilities function
  • Being responsible for the management of facilities, capital works and maintenance of the UK Organisations estate 
  • Managing and developing key facility functions using both in-house and outsourced providers 
  • Supporting site leads and senior management in the development, planning, control and management of facilities budgets
  • Lead of negotiations on all estate and facilities matters with appropriate regulators and with local authorities

£70,000 to £90,000 (depending on experience)

  • Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Health & Safety qualification
  • Qualified full member of a professional building related discipline e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB, ICE and IWFM
  • Broad knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to estates and facilities
  • Substantial experience of successful strategic leadership and management of an estates and facilities function
  • A proven track record in the delivery of building projects and a wide range of capital works and customer-focused estate and facilities services
  • Extensive experience of planning and managing budgets


  • Salary from £70,000 to £90,000 (depending on experience)
