Schoen Clinic London have a fantastic opportunity for a Reservations Administrator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Reservations Administrator will be responsible for admitting patients to hospital in a timely and efficient manner, making the process as smooth as possible for patients and clinicians.


  • Contacting patients to arrange admission for surgery, booking patients into the hospital database, checking confidential information, liaising with patients and colleagues face to face and over the phone
  • Data entry of records and managing and recording hospital notes
  • Working collaboratively with the wards and in-patient departments to review length of stay and to review discharge updates
  • The role will be required to liaise with insurance companies, patients, consultant secretaries and operational specialities as part of the patient’s admission pathway
  • The role will be responsible for obtaining patients information, both personal and financial and booking all inpatient and day case admissions utilising booking and theatre modules to use the hospitals resources to the fullest effect
  • Responsibility for providing efficient and effective communication at all levels to both internal and external stakeholders and will need to ensure a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of the patient experience is at the centre of all activities within the role
  • Responsible for answering incoming calls in a timely manner and providing an efficient, high quality service to all internal and external stakeholders at all times
  • Attending of bed meetings to ensure all necessary information is obtained and updated on the bed board and information is communicated to all relevant departments
  • To input bookings into the hospital information system and notify patients of bookings or amendments to bookings
