Mr Rajaratnam treats a number of professional and amateur sportspeople with soft tissue injuries of the knee. He is an expert on rapid recovery following ACL reconstruction and is recognised as one of the leading knee specialists in the UK.
Mr David Sweetnam
Mr Sweetnam has 30 years’ experience of treating injuries in both professional and amateur skiers, 20 years of which as a consultant Sports and Trauma Surgeon. He first published on the subject in The British Journal of Sports Medicine in the early 1990s looking at the impact on the NHS of people returning from the slopes with skiing injuries.
Mr Livio Di Mascio
Mr Di Mascio has a keen interest in treating skiing and sporting injuries in patients from amateur to elite athletes. Working at The Royal London Hospital, one of the busiest trauma centres in the UK, he sees a lot of skiing injuries during the winter season. He is also an avid skier himself.
Mr Giuseppe Sforza
Having both studied medicine and worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Italy, Mr Sforza is well placed to understand the environment in which skiing injuries happen and the problems an injured patient can experience trying to navigate the medical system whilst abroad. Mr Sforza has a special interest in shoulder sports injuries, particularly in skiers and snowboarders.
