As a Clinical Administrator, Michelle ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the reception office at our highly specialised hospital for adults with eating disorders.

Michelle is often the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors at the hospital, ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times. She also supports individuals by booking assessments and managing the admission process.

Working closely with clinicians and mental health professionals within the multidisciplinary team, Michelle is able to provide support and guidance on the delivery of the clinical services offered at Schoen Clinic York. This may include coordinating treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care, and facilitating communication among staff members.

Michelle acts as a liaison between the hospital and the community, including establishing relationships with community mental health teams, advocacy groups and insurance companies.
