Mr Jairaj was surgically trained in some of London’s top teaching hospitals and specialist trained on the Imperial College orthopaedic scheme. He took an alternative route by completing travelling American and French fellowships. He was appointed into a substantive consultant trauma and orthopaedic post specialising in hip and knee surgery and then went on to co-found a successful private practice partnership.
He brings a wealth of experience in the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques for hip and knee joint preservation including cartilage repair and ligament reconstruction as well as the largest combined UK experience in custom planned and custom hip and knee replacements. He is also the only high volume hip arthroscopic surgeon in the UK performing this surgery with a pioneering technique of tiny capsular incisions (others cut the capsule and main ligament).
