Change in top management at Schoen Clinic

The Current Co-CEO and CFO, Dr. Markus Hamm, is moving up to become CEO.

After more than 30 years as head of Schoen Clinic, Dieter Schoen has today relinquished chairmanship of the Management Board and will thus concentrate on the chairmanship of the Administrative Board.

The Current Co-CEO and CFO, Dr. Markus Hamm, is moving up to become CEO.

Germany's largest family-run hospital group operates the second largest private service in the UK for in-patient treatment of children and adolescents with eating disorders (Newbridge House in Birmingham) and in late spring, Schoen Clinic London will open. This will be a specialist hospital, focused on world-class spinal care and orthopaedics for adults.

In a message to the approximately 10,000 employees of Germany's largest family-run hospital group, Schoen explained: "It had always been clear to me that at 60, it is good no longer to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a company. I have been working in partnership with Dr. Hamm for 15 years. He has my trust, and that of the shareholders.”
