Suzanne Young

Suzanne Young is one of the Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) at our highly specialised hospital for adults with eating disorders in York.

Suzanne has always been passionate about mental health and supporting people with a range of difficulties - and has shown her commitment for nearly a decade having initially joined the team in 2014.

In her day-to-day role as a Healthcare Assistant at Schoen Clinic York, Suzanne assists patients with their daily activities including mealtime support and leisure activities, and accompanies them to therapy sessions.

Suzanne helps both our residential patients and adults on the daycare programme to manage their behaviour and emotions through positive reinforcement and support.

Suzanne believes in providing high-quality care with compassion, empathy, and patience to support adults who are going through a challenging time with their health and mental well-being.
