Mr Russo is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with an interest in complex spine surgery. He has a formal training in neurosurgery with an additional two years of dedicated combined Complex Spine Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Spine Fellowship training. Mr Russo has also spent two years in the USA for his Fellowship in Neurosurgery and Microsurgical Neuroanatomy.
Mr Russo was appointed to The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (UCLH) in 2014. He is currently the Lead Clinician for the acute spinal tumour service, including metastatic spinal cord compression (MSCC).
He is a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons (BASS), Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), General Medical Council (GMC) and American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
