OUR TREATMENT MODEL

The Newbridge Treatment Model describes the multiple interventions and treatments we provide in our inpatient programme and now we have an outpatient clinic treating young people and adults for a range of eating disorders.

INPATIENT EATING DISORDER TREATMENT

Our inpatient eating disorder treatment for children and young people includes a range of specialist therapeutic treatment groups, as well as individual therapy as required.

PRIVATE SHORT-STAY EATING DISORDER SUPPORT

One of the core components of our short-term inpatient stays is to provide early intervention towards mitigating the effects of eating disorders and hopefully preventing their escalation.

KEEPING PATIENTS SAFE

Your safety is our highest priority

We rigorously and regularly assess treatment quality, patient safety, and patient experience. There is a culture of information sharing, learning, and best practice, and these are consistently observed by the leadership team as well as the larger organisation.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They inspect, monitor and regulate the quality of care delivered by providers to ensure that it is safe, effective, caring, responsive & well-led. In order to consistently improve and deliver the highest quality of care, we regularly evaluate our performance against their standards. Our team were extremely proud to achieve an 'Outstanding' rating following an inspection in 2016, and a second 'Outstanding' rating following a subsequent inspection in 2018.

Our key initiatives in patient safety

  • We were the first UK private healthcare organisation to directly employ many of our Consultants, allowing them to work in highly specialised multidisciplinary teams
  • Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach puts patients in the centre of a team of specialists
  • Our Freedom to Speak Up Guardian enables staff to confidentially raise any concerns they might have.

It's very rare, but things can go wrong from time to time. When they do, we are honest, conduct in-depth investigations, and make sure we take away lessons.

Send us feedback if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
