UK Managing Director
Andy Davey
Andy joined Schoen Clinic in March 2020 and is responsible for leading the UK strategy for growth, clinical excellence as well as the quality agenda. He assumes full accountability to the Board of Directors in Germany as well as our investors, along with overall responsibility for all UK operations. Andy comes with a rich wealth of experience in the independent sector with a successful leadership career spanning 20 years. He has been operating at executive and senior level for most of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers including Nuffield Health, Aspen Healthcare, BMI and most recently Spire Healthcare. He has also been the Non-Executive Chairman of STEPS Rehabilitation.

UK HR Director
Faye Collins
Faye joined Schoen Clinic in October 2020 and is responsible for leading the HR team and progressing our people strategy. Faye has spent many years in healthcare working in complex organisations and has been instrumental in integrating a diverse range of facilities into the business through proactive change management. We are committed to fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and compassion in all aspects of our operations. The HR team work towards our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services, while upholding the highest ethical standards in recruitment and employment practices. UK Medical Director
Dr James Woolley
Dr Woolley was one of the founding clinicians at Schoen Clinic Chelsea and has been instrumental in driving their quality agenda as well as being influential in setting growth aspirations. Dr Woolley is dual-qualified in general medicine and Psychiatry, training in London at the Maudsley Hospital. He has been Consultant Psychiatrist since 2007, specialising in psychosis and anxiety and mood disorders alongside liaison psychiatry at a variety of London teaching hospitals. In addition to 15+ years NHS Consultant experience, he has extensive knowledge of the private healthcare market having worked with the largest UK private mental healthcare provider for over a decade. Dr Woolley most recently worked at the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden Hospitals, running their psychiatry service and is increasing his commitment to Schoen Clinic during an exciting period of growth.

UK Marketing Director
Laura Penn
Laura joined Schoen Clinic in January 2021 and is responsible for leading the group’s UK marketing strategy, brand strategy and all corporate communications. She oversees public relations activity and plays a key role in strengthening Schoen Clinic’s profile and reputation across the UK care and healthcare sector. In addition, Laura manages commercial contracts and relationships with private medical insurers and strategic partners, ensuring that services are accessible to patients through established healthcare networks. An experienced healthcare marketing and business development professional, Laura has held senior roles with several of the UK’s leading independent healthcare providers, including Spire Healthcare, Nuffield Health, and Aspen Healthcare. Her career demonstrates a strong record of achievement in driving private revenue growth by successfully promoting specialist services to patients, GPs, insurers, and allied healthcare professionals. At Schoen Clinic UK, Laura combines her commercial expertise with strategic leadership to position the organisation as a trusted provider of specialist services in the mental health space. She continues to play a pivotal role in supporting the group’s mission to deliver outstanding, patient-centred care.

UK Finance Director
Jen Nel
Jen joined Schoen Clinic in August 2020. Her portfolio encompasses finance, commercial, M&A, technology, procurement and facilities management, ensuring the UK business is strategically positioned for growth. Jen is a healthcare expert, with over 20 years’ experience across public, private and professional services. Previous leadership roles include CFO of Healthshare Group, Commercial Finance Director of Viapath Group and KPMG Transaction Services and Healthcare Advisory. Jen is Trustee and Treasurer of the Carers Network Charity

Management Accountant
Sriskanda Aravinthan
Sriskanda has been part of Schoen Clinic UK since 2019, bringing more than two decades of financial management experience to his role. As Management Accountant, he is responsible for budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and supporting operational decision-making across the organisation. With a strong background in healthcare finance, Sriskanda’s expertise spans variance analysis, credit control, payroll administration, and KPI reporting. His work ensures robust financial planning and accountability, helping to maintain the sustainability and growth of Schoen Clinic UK while supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

UK General Counsel
Sarah Findlay
Sarah joined Schoen Clinic in January 2023 and is responsible for the oversight and management of all legal matters including structuring and delivering commercial deals, compliance, commercial contracting, litigation and regulatory matters and supporting teams in the delivery of the organisational strategy. Sarah has vast legal experience in private healthcare, having spent the previous 10 years with HCA Healthcare UK. She has also worked at other prestigious law firms including LangtonHudsonButcher and Russell McVeagh.

Recruitment Business Partner
Alex Tigwell
Alex is responsible for all things recruitment and on-boarding. This will include advertising, interviewing, being the point of contact throughout your on-boarding and directing you to when your start date would be with us! Alex loves meeting with people, learning more about why you want to work with us, and exploring the opportunities we have!! For my own mental wellbeing: ‘I am a keen lover of meditation, reiki, sound baths and anything creative like pottery painting, so you will find me on a monthly basis having a weekend of all things holistic!

Head of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Michelle Beck
Michelle ensures regulatory compliance and leads systems that uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement. While conducting site visits and inspections, she will offer critical friend advice to support teams in delivering best practices and drive improvements. Michelle keeps us safe, compliant, and continuously improving. Leading quality, health, safety and environment with a sharp eye, a supportive voice, and regular site visits where she’s your go-to critical friend for honest advice and best practice. For my own mental wellbeing, I find 30 minutes of walking or cycling in the morning before work gives me a boost and sets me up for the day. I also have an emergency chocolate drawer it that falls.

Group Marketing Executive
Greg Anderson
Greg is responsible for a wide range of marketing activities across Schoen Clinic UK, combining strategy, creativity and technical expertise. His role spans design for digital and print campaigns, researching market trends, copywriting and SEO-optimised website content, as well as overseeing website design and development projects. He produces a variety of media including specialist interviews, headshot photography, videography and podcasts to showcase our expert teams and services. Greg also manages newsletters, internal and external communications and supports event planning and delivery. With responsibility for social media and community engagement, he plays a key role in building Schoen Clinic’s brand presence, strengthening relationships with patients, professionals and partners and ensuring our work is seen, heard and celebrated. For my own mental wellbeing: I love rewatching my favourite comfort shows like Buffy, Dexter and Supernatural. You can’t beat a great show!

Senior Billing Officer
Julia Kregiel
With nearly 10 years of experience in healthcare, Julia ensures that our PMI billing is accurate and compliant with financial policies. Julia’s role involves efficiently liaising with insurers to ensure a seamless pathway for our patients, from invoice submission to payment, as well as being responsible for accurately allocating payments to customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies. For my own mental wellbeing: One thing that helps me to fully relax and unwind is a good book.
