About Tessa Lange
Qualifications
BSc, MSc
Tessa Lange is an Assistant Psychologist at Schoen Clinic Chelsea, specialising in neuroaffirmative autism and ADHD assessments, alongside post-diagnostic support for individuals recently diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD.
Tessa brings together diagnostic rigour with a warm, compassionate, and person-centred approach. She is committed to delivering personalised, thorough, and evidence-based assessments that prioritise clarity, understanding, and psychological safety. Central to her work is creating an empowering environment in which clients feel heard, validated, and supported throughout both the assessment process and their post-diagnostic journey.
Her post-diagnostic work focuses on helping individuals make sense of their diagnosis, explore their strengths and needs, and develop confidence in their identity and next steps.
Tessa works collaboratively with clients to support insight, self-understanding, and practical adjustment following diagnosis, in line with neuroaffirmative principles.
Prior to joining Schoen Clinic Chelsea, Tessa gained experience across private psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services as well as within the NHS, supporting individuals with a broad range of mental health presentations. She has also worked as an Honorary Researcher and contributed to clinical service audits, strengthening her ability to approach clinical work with objectivity, critical thinking, and a strong evidence base.
Tessa holds an MSc in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London, building on a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology. Her academic and clinical background underpins her thoughtful, research-informed practice and her commitment to delivering high-quality psychological care.
Tessa is fluent in both English and German.
