Schoen Clinic Centre for Mental Health Chelsea
Yoga Instructor - Mental Health Conditions
Lucy Eagle is a Yoga Instructor in London with over 20 years of experience in the practice. She has been teaching Yoga for the last 10 years and holds the firm belief that a regular yoga practice can be transformative. Lucy offers weekly Yoga classes at Schoen Clinic Chelsea that can be accessed as part of the mental health treatment programme for adults, or on a pay-as-you-go basis.
It has been shown that yoga lowers stress hormones in our bodies, whilst simultaneously increasing beneficial brain chemicals like endorphins. These feel-good chemicals help decrease anxiety and improve mood.
The yoga classes at the clinic are a mix of breath work, meditation, asana and restorative practice. Breathing techniques and meditation help to calm and centre the mind whilst the asana, the physical practice, brings about body awareness. Together these practices mean we can gain greater control over our emotional experiences.
Yoga helps you to let go of the things that don't serve you anymore and to develop self-compassion.
The classes are open to everyone no experience is necessary. For full details about the yoga classes please check the group outline on this page.
Lucy welcomes self-funding patients to her Schoen Clinic Chelsea yoga class. Book an appointment today by calling +44 20 4571 6312 or complete our pre-screening questionnaire online anytime to suit you.
