Dr Wolman has been an NHS Consultant in Rheumatology and Sport & Exercise Medicine at the RNOH. He is the medical advisor to the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science and has looked after several dance companies over the last 15 years.
Dr Wolman has worked for the British Olympic association treating athletes from many different sports. He has also worked with several professional football clubs. He uses exercise prescription alongside other treatments to help his patients recover from injury.
Dr Wolman strongly believes in holistic care and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. His work has involved research on the health benefits of exercise in the management of many chronic conditions including Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Chronic Pain, and Hypermobility. He works closely with physiotherapists and other therapists, including complimentary therapists, to optimise the outcomes and health benefits of his patients. This approach has also allowed him to offer treatment options to patients so that they can avoid having musculoskeletal surgery.
