Jo Hamblin

Jo Hamblin is a Dietetic Assistant at our highly specialised hospital for adults with eating disorders. Jo is very passionate about supporting people through eating disorder recovery and has been a dedicated member of the team at Schoen Clinic York for over 30 years.

As a Dietetic Assistant, Jo is able to support with nutritional assessments and meal planning as well as monitoring patient food intake. Jo is keen to share her own knowledge around food and nutrition and offers education and counselling around the subject to help patients develop healthier relationships with, and habits around food.

As part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) at Schoen Clinic York, Jo collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient care is effectively coordinated and meal plans are tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

Jo works with both inpatients and adults on the daycare eating disorder treatment programme.
