If you suffer a skiing or snowboarding injury it’s likely you will first be treated by a resort doctor. However, ski injuries are often just stabilised in-resort to then be treated once you are back home.
Optimal recovery from injury and a quick return to sporting activity relies on an accurate and early diagnosis. But, medical facilities and expertise abroad, particularly in-resort, can vary greatly and as such injuries sometimes remain undiagnosed. For example, you may have had an x-ray taken but not an MRI scan.
On your return home, our team will review your injury, discuss the options and initiate the correct management plan providing you with the support and tailored treatment you need.
Your one-stop appointment includes any diagnostic scans, rapid reporting and review by a consultant specialist to determine the best treatment and/or recovery plan for you. Any treatment is fast and effective, ensuring that normal life, work and sports can be resumed as soon as possible.
