We understand that everyone is different and that there are lots of different pathways to developing an eating disorder. Our specialists have enabled hundreds of young people to overcome their eating disorders by identifying the underlying causes and various contributing factors that may have exacerbated their condition. This has been achieved through an integrated approach to treatment that takes account of the physical health needs of our patients, their psychological well-being and recognises the importance of family support.

Our treatment programmes are recommended when young people and their family require more intensive help in order to overcome the impact of an eating disorder. This might be at the start of an eating disorder or later on in the journey, when intensive help can be used to break bad habits that families have struggled with for some time.
